    Default vn door pods

    hey iv got option audio 6.5 inch splits in my parcel shelf but id like 2 put them in my rear doors but not sure wat kind of speaker pod 2 use coz the my speakers are bigger like they sit deeper than others iv had so just wondering wat 2 do about this

    You could try to put them in the doors but they won't sound as good. May I ask why you would want to put speakers in the rear doors? What sort of front speakers do you have? It is certainly do able but I fail to see why you would want to do it.

    dont listen to wraith on this subject he hasnt tried it i havent got speaker pods in my rear doors i located a spot away from the windor mechanisim etc and clears the window as well it actually clears the back seat by a couple of mms and still sounds alright i have set my rear door speakers and front door speakers of head unit and the 6x9s off a amp in my vs and i am running kicker speakers in all 4 doors and andrew it says what speakers he has

    James your door speakers looked absolutely shit and when you closed the door half the speaker was covered by the rear seat. Yeah real good for sound compared to having them on the back parcel shelf. Also James it does not say what type of speakers he is running at the front.

    its just a thought atm but iv got the front speakers in the front doors nd they sound good as so the backs not gona sound any diff its not like i need bass outa the speakers thats y subs were invented lol im thinkin bout using the rear speaker holes as the ports 4 a custom sub box audio guy i no did it nd it made a huge difference in sound and in db comps

    sound quality is still good though and andrew only spot you can fit them in them doors and with my new seats there is more room between seat and door

    Sound quality will never be good with a speaker that is half covered James. To OP if I was you I wouldn't bother. Just leave the stereo the way it is. If ain't broke and your happy with it why bother changing it.
