SPL Comp - Singleton Show n Shine

Just a quick message to let everyone know Autobarn Maitland (myself included) will be holding the SPL comp this year, heres a few details if anyone is interested:

Date: 27-28th of November - Sound off is on the Sunday,
Time: Registrations start at 9am, Comp at 10am sharp.
Location : Singleton Showground (will get an address)
Cost: $15 per car.

Classes:

Class A: Up to 2 x 10" or 1 x 12"

Class B: Up to 2 x 12" or 1 x15"

Class C: Up to 2 x 15" or 3 x 12"

Open: No limit on subs, 3000wrms max.

Open Pro: No limit.

If you have more than 1500wrms you move up one class, unless you are in an "open" class to begin with.

Trophies for 1st and 2nd place in all class but the Open Pro.


Just a quick reminder to those who havent been before its not just your average show n shine either, its basically a smaller version of summernats with grass events, dyno and a few hundred show cars. Theres a few trade displays and Autobarn will have some great deals only available at the show.

Its a great day (or weekend, can even camp on site)....i will link a flyer up to this thread when i find one.

I'll be making sure the classes are fair, and you wont be competing against any "pro" SPL cars.....i'd expect maybe 135db to take class A, 140 or so for class B and 142-3 for class C....plus theres trophies for 1st and 2nd place so $15.00 for a good chance to snag a trophy AND show entry for yourself (i think other people in your car need to pay entry fee), with the Dyno and grass events on for most of Sunday it wont be boring i can tell you

Yes i have just been informed of that thanks Josh......think of it more as a day out to a car show than just a SPL comp, those that have been will know what i mean.

I believe there will be another trophy made for best install, regardless of SPL score.

A quick bump as the comp is tomorrow......if your planning on going to the show and have a decent audio system in your car, feel free to bring it over to the Autobarn stand and enter it. If anything you'll have a good chance to snag a trophy
