I've got two subs sitting in my room both in box. 1 15 inch sub and a box with 2 10 inch subs in it. Which would be better suited to my VT? Also for the 2 tens will i need two amps?
i would run with the twin 10", and know, youl either need a monoblock, or depending or how you wire it, a 2 channel amp
Depends on the subs, depends on what music you like, depends if you like 'punchy bass' or 'rolling' bass, depends on what amps you got, depends on the impedance of the subs.
We are going to need more info than this to help you. Just start with the model numbers of the subs and any amps you have to run it/them.

Prefer to listen to rolly type bass. Music like the dirty beats volumes. Unsure on the model numbers as i can't find on internet and all thats on the box is 'high quality subwoofer'
hmm you will need to get the subs out and look at the sticker/label on the underside of the sub just so we can get a clearer picture on what advice to give
Post of pic of em, sumone may be able to pick what they are
Pulled one out and wrote down what was on the back of the subs.

MAX: 450 watt

They will be pretty rubbish for deep bass. What is the 15" one?

Haven't tried it yet. Heres the 15'' http://www.crazysales.com.au/kingwoo...ofer_p120.html
I'll only be using these subs until i i decided to upgrade my audio in the car.
LOL at higher 'output maximum' than max power, whatever the hell output maximum is. Maybe its a perpetual sub or something.
So what you have here is two 10" subs that are suited for tight bass and not deep bass, and one 15" paperweight.
As for amps you need an amp that makes 450wrms at 4-ohms, to drive those two 10" subs. If your on a tight budget than this will do it, Shopping Secure - Car Audio Specialists - Ground Zero Iridium GZIA 2230HPX .

A single channel amp is always best for running subs, but your problem is that you want the power at 4-ohms, whereas most mono-amps make their most power at 1 or 2-ohms.

You know those paper cone woofers aren't too bad in a 3 way HT setup on a budget, but they are not suitable for car audio use due to the impedance level. As said above at best you could wire them together to get a 4 ohm load, but even then you won't find a mono block amp that would produce the sort of power levels you are after @ 4ohm.
Maybe you could sell what you have and try to find something else on a budget.
But really unless your going to spend decent amounts of money on a sub in a car this sized, you'd be better of with a decent set of full range speakers instead...
