Do you lready have the subs , if not get the D4 version and run the soundstream as it has a 1 ohm rating @1700rms
By a little more in price do you mean $500 as opposed to $800 , thats if Ebay is anything to go by !

The Alpine lowest rating is 2 ohm so ideally its best suited to the subs if you already have the D2s , buying the SS is no worse off but your basically spending an extra $300 for no more benefit other than you could add 2 more D2s later and still run all 4 safely and correctly loaded.

    why stop ot 1000wrms..
using that alpine would mean running it 100% which is not really recommended.
those amps have a a mark 2/3 of the way which say nom.

    shameless plug

im selling a mrp-m2000 if you want cheap power...

mines brand new.. and still in original box.

    1500wrms @4ohms
    2000wrms @2ohms
    2274wrms @2ohms on birth cert.

    $650

i think 2000 watts would be good to run them as if you set it to a safe 2/3 you will be running about 1500watts when fully cranked..
