Installing New Alpine head unit in 2003 vy s

Hey Guys,

Ive had a fair bit of experience with installing car audio stuff

My mate has come to me to install his new head unit which is an alpine IXA-W404E

Alpine Electronics of Australia

My question is, should i just get an ISO harness or should i manually wire the whole thing?
im confident with either but which would be more trustworthy with the potential faults with all the abs stuff that might come up?

just get the harness adaptor, not worth the time doing it manually

i bought a kti which came with an AeroPro adapter for my kenwood to VY. Lets just say the thing was wired back to front you would have to turn it 180 to get it to line up, but it cant go in because of the clip that holds the plug im place.

I didnt have ABS so im not sure what difference that would make, but i just tapped the existing harness
