Please pay attention to what I'm about to say. MAny of us are regulars here and remember many threads. When you said you searched and couldn't find anything. I thought that something was wrong. I did a search and found these.

Just because it wasn't obvious....look harder. I'm sure you will see what people were talking about. Including the fact that the wiring is their....They are very relevant.

well, the last one is for a VS, BUT the vn-vs wagons are fairly similar in the wagon part of things, so read through the VS wagon thread, and tell us how you go. and the tihrd one there links directly to the last one.

    Hi,

Not sure about the VP, or even on lower end VS models, but the Berlina-spec wagons have brackets for the speakers in the sides of the cargo area.

If there are no brackets, you could use 18mm MDF to mount into the space in the sides of the cargo area (behind the carpet).

Open it up and have a look, that's what I did.

*i have been on here way before, but when they did there re-work of this site, i lost my accout and had to re-register....but anwho's*
    ok clueless...
i could go throgh what mine had, but i'll say what i've now done just to give u an idea. i got rid of the 6 1/2" in the back and got a pair of 6x9's, where there have been notifications on the area's behind the carpet on the sides is ideal, but from looking in from tail gate, the right side hole is smaller than the left because the right wheel arch also has the fuel incorporated to it.

the left side 6x9 speaker will go in no worries, just gotta make up a mounting bracket (chipboard or mdf) and screw that all into place. whereas the right hole is too small for the speaker to fit. so if u want it to fit, u can either go about somehow fitting it over the metal...or...doing what i did and that is di-grinding away metal from the side to make a sort of oval looking shape hole then mounting it that way.

it is a scary thought of grinding ya car up, but when all done, it looks stock just with now 6x9's
i could post pictures if u would like for an example

There was existing wires for existing speakers.Seeing as you previously did not have speakers in the rear, you would therefore not have any wire. So, you are going to have to run your own.

Those wires at your headunit will end at a connector behind the drivers side kick panel.

    Such an old thread lol

Edit: found one of my pics thats floating around in another thread somewhere.
