I'll be the first to join in :P see if we can get this flowing.

boot side of the install consists of

    - kenwood 1800w monoblock amp
    - kenwood 600w 4channel amps x2 (both bridged to run as 2channel amps)
    - kenwood 1500w dual voice coil subs
    - custom fit subwoofer boxes

Just have to repaint the sub rings... they've copped a little bit of a battering some how...

Are they your port holes? Seriously remove those things now. You are restricting the air going through them and totally changing the port characteristics.

Why paper weight? More like paper shredder!

I like the red Alpine one, looks great and still practical.

    never finished it.

4 out of 6 subs are gone, same with the batteries, one box has been modified into a work bench, and the car is gone.

all it is is the standard sub box behind the ply wood and the hole is the same size as it was with a bit of pipe in front of it, so some noise comes out the front, most comes out the sides anyway so its not restricted??

Wait I'm a bit confused. The factory box is behind the ply false wall, right? With the factory port still there, right? And than you put some pipe in front of the factory box port? Is the centre back seat down in your car or do you keep it up? If its down than just remove the pipe in front of the port. If its up I think you have created some crazy bandpass enclosure here. Basically just clear and objects from in front of the factory port.

ok, well the ply wood doesn't seal the sub in, there are huge gaps either side, and the factory sub box is still behind the ply wood and the sub is still screwed and sealed to that, i just have 100mm pipe about 2-3 inches away from the factory bass port just catching some of the noise and pushing it through the front bass ports but most comes out the side like normal anyway, ( like it was when i got it all installed ) so really the chrome drainpipes are there just for looks and to have the blue neons in them :P
