How to run amp lead to battery

I haven't had time to look yet and I was wondering where to run the amp lead to the battery in a VP. Do I drill a hole in the fire wall? Or is there a spot already? Any help will be appreciated.

I would imagine VN is similar to VP, I just went through the clutch cable grommit. In the engine bay it's like 100mm down from the top of the firewall and maybe 300? in from the left hand side.. Near the brake booster. Theres a nice big fat grommit there which is a pain in the ass to put back in. have fun!
