you need to take the parcel shelf out. take the rear seat out, undo all the clips in the shelf and then just pull the shelf out

u can try and pry the grills off and poke the speakers through the hole in the shelf but its quite difficult. your better off just taking the parcel shelf off and making life easy for yourself. i had to my rear seats out to take my parcel shelf off

For the fronts you need to remove the door trim, search for a how to on here. It's not that hard to do though once you work out how, and probably worth a go yourself. Just be sure the new speakers will fit first, which the should if they are just 6 inches and not a strange design. You can get a small tool to make taking the trim, especially window winder and lock off easier.

Yeah there's no speakers in the doors. The 6" ones you have should fit perfectly. I have 6.5" in the back of mine and from memory I had to make wooden spacer blocks (screw block to parcel shelf, then speaker into block, etc) so they sit up a tiny bit. but still underneath the parcel shelf.

Just whatever you do, DON'T CUT THE PARCEL SHELF IN ANY WAY. Voids your rego, insurance, etc etc.

have a search around next time, try this thread for info on removing the door trims / installing front speakers.

6x9's dont go well with subs anyway, they cancel out some of the bass from what ive read, better off sticking with 6 inchs all round

Ive got 6x9's in my vs and use to have 6" in my old vr, the bass is ALOT louder than it was in the vr but that may also be due to them running off separate amps. All depends on what your running i would think

    If you're not running a sub, definitely run 6x9s. If you're running a sub, don't run 6x9s.

Either buy aftermarket tweeters or rip the tweeters out of your speakers the place them where you want them and re-route the wire

Theres 2 screws holding in each demister panel, you'll need a short stubby philips head screw driver to get at them. Magnetic one too, careful not to let the screw fall in the vents like I did lol.
