big 3 for a vn v6

i want to upgrade the big 3 in my commodore

its a vn v6 where is the engine earth point?

whats the big 3 exactly ? and engine earth point would be on the block i'd imagine

The big 3 is when you upgrade the charging system in your car for up to 25% more power
You up grade the alternator wire the ground to chassis and ground to the block... I just wanted to know where on the block is the earth point

for the engine block, i posted on a audio forum and some1 said

"pull one of the mounting bolts for the alternator out (might need to take your serpentine belt off for that though) and sand the metal around the bolt hole on the alternator and ground it there. Then run the ground to the factory grounding point by the battery, making sure to sand that down to bare metal too. Then another wire from the factory ground point to the battery negative post."
