VZ will acomadate 6 and 6.5 inch speakers. The stock speakers are 6"
    Yep tweeter in the dash.
Your best to get some good 6.5" splits Front.
And 6.5" Coaxial's for the Rear

A coaxial has a centre mounted tweeter, differs from a split component set where the woofer and tweeter are seperate and include a crossover.

Well there's no point really in using a split component set in the back as there is no ideal point for mounting a tweeter. There's no stock location for one, so the door trims would require modifying, and the only people who would benefit would be the rear seat passengers.

U guys sure theres no good location for splits in the rear ? Im thinking about doing splits in the rear but to position the tweeters more to the rear and point them towards the front or maybe bounce the sound off the rear window, all of this hidden of course so as not to look tacky... i reckon it would sound mad if done correctly

You would have a shitload of Treble in ya car... R u running any subs?
Iv'e been thinking a similar thing, but having the tweeters in the boot door facing the front... I have a wagon by the way. heaps more space.
