Default Mounting Speakers Rear Parcel Shelf VX Berlina

Got some 6in pods and speakers and want to mount them in the parcel shelf but the surface is uneven.

Just wondering how do you mount your pods in the parcel shelf

    Cheers

6" speakers facing upwards equals fail, at least put them in the rear doors or something.

Generally the left-rear speaker will be pointing at better than 90 degrees to the driver.

What have you already got (speakers, amps, etc. Model numbers would be good)? What are you looking for (volume, loudness)? And how much are you looking to spend?

Ive got a complete system Amp Sub 4 6in speakers and tweeters (Kenwood Brand)

Do you have to remove anything in the boot just to mount 6x9 in there ?
Also would it be better to have speaker pods to raise the speakers or doesnt it make it a difference ?

    Cheers

All you do is remove rear seats, remove parcel shelf, jigsaw out the indented sections on the parcel shelf, install grilles, hammer out the plate over the holes, put in spekers and wire up

Note - when jig sawing, cut around half an inch inside the perferated bit... so the grilles doesnt fall through.. and with the grill tabs I just lined up where they went and stanley knife slits... pushed it through and bent them secure.. then put the helf and seats back in

you have a sub, install some 6" speakers in the rear doors, and dont bother with 6x9s in the parcel shelf.

Thats exactly what you should do. Are the front speakers factory or aftermarket? If factory than install the Kenwoods in the front, if aftermarket than install the Kenwoods in the back.
