Hey guys
should i buy 2 way coaxial speakers 6 inch for $40
It's got 300watts max power and 80 watt nom power
frequency response is 70hz-20khz
anything else i should know about these speakers? are they worth it
im not good with these kind of stuff so some help would be great please
I can't tell you much about the speakers since you forgot to tell us what they are. A model number would be fantastic.
Are they new? If they are than I'd like to know where you can get 80wrms speakers for $40.
Also I'd be a bit worried about the suspension of those speakers if they can only go down to 70hz.

haha, dont tell me there red dot speakers, i saw em at the shop and i was like lol.
there off ebay and theres no part number
and they are brand new
Those speakers are more fail than that DVD rewinder.
Seriously don't touch them, they WILL NOT be 80wmrs, and they WILL be crap.
If you want some cheap speakers than have a look here, Ryda Car Audio - 6" Car Speaker Store , there are some $40 speakers there.

Thanks mate
Your welcome.
But bit of advice,it won't sound much (if any) better over stock speakers, without at least an amp, and even then $40 speakers would be iffy.

True
But i dont really have that much spare $$ to spend on audio. Just want decent speakers for now
Yesterday a friend got me amp and sub for $150 i didnt take them because the brand was berzerk? never heard of it, any good?
Apparently (as far as I can tell) Berzerk is a line of US-Audio products (not made in US, thats just the brand name). It is a very budget low-level line of products. Cheap crap basically.

yeah had a feeling it would be something like that
All I can say is save your money for now and keep saving until you can get some better stuff, these $40 speakers will make stuff-all difference so why bother? But look around for second-hand stuff, I bought some nice Cadence speakers for about $40.
