Well since im selling my car i took my good headunit out and put a shitty sony in.. anyway it only does fm stations 99.3 99.5 99.7 etc, so it only does odd numbers after the "." the main channel i want to listen to is 87.6 (raw fm) so how can i get it to do the even numbers?
Second problem is when i put my phone through the aux it only plays through the front two speakers, not through the subs or rear speakers :S
Well i solved the fm problem, just the aux that is still got me confused now
Ill try elaborate the problem, when i plug any ipod/ iphone whatever music device through the aux port, the music only plays through the front two speakers, not the back two and the subs, i dont have a manual for it either
I have no experience with that head unit or Aux inputs. However, I think it may have something to do with the AUX device you are using, Or it could be the settings within the headunit. But sometimes those AUX outputs are set for a mono speaker or such, Which means only one stage will play. Hence the fronts, Have a fiddle and see if you can see the settings on the head unit or AUX device to change this 'mono' mode. Sorry i cant be of much help, But it may be of some assistance...
Thanks mate i appreciate your help, its just an nokia e63 and ipod, but it worked on my old headunit i had and it played through the subs, ill fiddle with the mono and other settings and fingers crossed. Cheers
Nope, fiddling with the trebble and mid etc didnt work, tried differant devices, even a differant aux cord and it didnt work. This is really annoying me, i dont want to have to buy another headunit
Have you tried a hard reset on your iPod? I found that makes mine reconnect with my head unit. Although I connect mine via USB not AUX, but worth a shot?
yeah but i dont think it would really matter cause its the same with my phone, both used to work on my old headunitt
i actually tried a cd today and that doesnt work through the subs or rear speakers either, buying a nother headunit. Fantastic :/ love spending money on a car ive sold
