    Default Astra - Sub Installation

How do I go about installing a little sub and amp into a 2006 Holden Astra? Is it possible to keep the stock headunit?

    Thanks

well since none of the experts have given advice i guess ill try haha, anyways im pretty sure a stock astra headunit wouldnt have the rca inputs so you wouldnt be able to hook up the rca's from the amp to the headunit, so yeah you might need a new headunit, anyone feel free to correct me if im wrong

if you dont want to replace the head unit then you could always use the speaker level inputs, but idk depens if you wanna change the head unit

if you dont find a amp with the speaker level input then get a rca to speaker level input converter

You can get converters but to be honest the price you pay for a decent head unit now days it kind of makes it pointless.

buy a new head unit with rca pre outs, cheaper and will be easier to do.

The owner of the astra isn't much of a fan of changing the headunit, so sounds like a Line out Converter is the way to go? Do they get the job done?
