Grounding position for Amp under seat

Hay guys,
Iv'e installed all my Stereo system in my VZ. I have the Amp under the passengers seat.
Just want to know from other ppl that have the Amp in the same place. Where the best spot is to ground the Amp? Theres a few spots on the side kickes, but there only as good as the welds holding them. Id rather hit the chassis or something.

i dont have amps under the seat but from what i have heard, you could ground it to the bolt on the seat belt on the floor

either use the bolt holding the seat belt or i used one of the bolts holding in the seat rails as they bolt into the chassis worked great for my set up

Make sure though when you remove a bolt like those (seatbelt or seat) that you slap some loctite on the bolt before it goes back in.. The last thing you want is it jiggling loose...

NEVER use seat bolts or seat belt bolts , there painted and WONT coduct full 12V MOST of the time.

If you remove the seat then screw your earth directly into the metal box section where the outside of the seat bolts down to , the hole you put through it doesnt penetrate to the outside of the vehicle so no chance of water leakage , ideally rub the paint off back to bare metal before screwing the terminal down.

ALWAYS screw earths directly into metal structure of the body or expect future issues.

Why not just remove the paint on the bolt?
