Default Installing Sub in VP ute - Or should I?

    Hi Guys,

I recently sold my stock VT and purchased a 1992 VP 5.0L ute. I had quite a descent sound system in the VT but only dragged the Sub and Amp out before selling.

The panel/cavity behind the seat seems like it has a fair amount of room in there for a sub, if i was to cut into it. My questions are:
    1. Would i do any harm by cutting into this cavity?
    2. which would be a better position? (the heavy end facing in or out of cavity)
    3. Don't install the sub at all?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Probably better off getting a slimline sub that goes under or behind the seat

Get a slim line sub far less dramas. Flog off the old setup to help fund the new setup.

Sounds like a plan, that or i may just use the amp to power some really good 6.5 Rockford Fosgate's. That should also give me a nice sound in a small space like the ute?
