    Default Bang for the buck 6's

    Aloha all, i'm getting my system installed in my VS this weekend. I have my head unti, sub and amps from my old car, i just need 2x sets of 6s xD. Anyone reccomend some good bang for the buck 6s?

    I'd recommend putting splits up the front, and some cheaper coax. in the rear, after all you sit in the front, not the back so you want the best sound coming from the front . Whats your budget mate?

    Not really that much tbh. I was looking at Alpine type s 6's for 100 bux a set.. But i kinda wanna do my tweeters aswell. But the alpine type s splits are 6.5 so i dont know if they'll fit in my doors. Plus they're 250 for one set rofl

    mate your much better off going with the splits. i had 6.5s in my old vs and they went in fine.

    Depends on the physical layout of the speaker you get. I've had 2 kinds of 6.5" splits fit in with not much effort... but some are really deep so that could be an issue.

    I Just recently put a 2 sets (Replacing all stock 6's) of Kicker 6's from JB Hifi, paid $80 a set for them and they thump!

    Ah ok, thanks guys. Do you think it's worth the extra cash buying the splits? Or am i not going to notice the difference?

    aha ok, well a mate is going to sell me his Kicker 6 inch splits, should i pair them with some 6 inch kickers or alpine type s' or what? Lol
