    Default System Wiring

    hey guys
pretty much finished buying all the components of my sound system
just need to get it installed now
i was thinking of buying the cables and other wiring to make the installation cheaper
what kind of cables and wiring would i need to get the following installed on my VT?

    Pioneer DEH-6350SD headunit
    Alpine SPR-17S splits
    Alpine SPR-17C coaxials
Response Precision AA0426 4 Channel amp
    12" 400WRMS Kenwood Sub
    Pioneer GM-5400T Monoblock amp

Also, how much do you think I should be stung for the install?

    Any help would be awesome

    Zac

I'm going to take this as a guess, but you can take some into consideration.

First you need a power kit (which come with a fuse in the kit), comes with Red(power) blue(remote) and silver(ground) wires, since you're not running that much power 4guage should be heaps, BUT if you want to go bigger later on go a 0 gauge straight up.

For speaker wire, go around 12guage, go bigger if you'd like; You need enough to go from the amps to the speakers then for the splits too. From one side of the car to the other is probably going to be 3 metres (speaker to boot), then each side etc. I'm not sure to be honest, but i would say around 8Metres to be safe?

You're also going to need RCA's (get them in kits of 1-5Metres)

You're also going to need the Facia so you can put your headunit in (unless it's double-din, my internets capped so I can't look it up)

You could also get the wiring kits which is HOLDEN VT > ISO then the ISO > Pioneer kit. If you don't understand what they are, to keep it simple they're looms which you swap with. People at audio stores will know.

Installs are coming pretty cheap at the moment, as they don't take long if you know what you're doing. First time I did mine took me like over a day and that was without speakers.

I say go hit-up Autobarn or something along those lines for a quote, remember I was just taking a good guess, so anyone feel free to correct me.

Just remember you're Pioneer headunit doesn't have a wire to control your Aerial, so it's always up or always down.

Pretty sure I had that sub you're looking at getting. Great value for money, goes hard as. Not the greatest quality but what you'd expect from a Kenwood, you'll definately be happy with it
