VE headunit problem, HELP..

my gf has a ve calais and it's stopped playing cd's, guessing the laser is stuffed.. anyways just wondering whats the best solution to this, are they repairable?? or better off trying to get another one??

If the laser is gone, it can be replaced with a new one. The laser is a Sony unit, commonly purchasable from Wagner.

If you dismantle the base unit and take it into a service centre, they can replace the laser.
