    Default subs from overseas

    hey this could be a stupid question so go easy haha, iv found a sub on that amazon website so i guess its from america and i just wanted to no if it matters where the sub is from coz i no with different appliances and stuff they have different voltage ratings compared to here so just wanted to no if subs from overseas have that too, like i said this could be a dumb question so if it is, sory haha
    any help is appreciated

    i think cos we are in the southern hemisphere you have to mount it upside down... so it counteracts where you purchased it from and the sub will work properly..

    I believe sound from southern subs will swirl clockwise whilst northern ones will go counter clockwise. So as long as it's made for clockwise swirl all will be well

    Subs are region locked so american will only work with a NTSC stereo Australia is pal same as dvd and video games


    I can unlock them for you $50 per sub

    Why even bother with getting audio gear from over seas. If it ain't a fake by the time you get it here it's more anyway.

    There are many good websites to buy overseas, though chances are the postage on something as heavy as a sub will make it not worthwhile.

    well... the sub from overseas is all ready less the half the price here + postage will be less than buying it here, the only thing is bad form buying oevrseas is warrenty, u will most likely have to pay to post it back, some shops will pay postage to send back. i buy everything overseas these days,
