hey ive been searching around the forums a bit and havent really found much. i have a sv6 ute with a upgraded system from factory...so the blankput tweeters amp and velocity 6.5 inch sub which is a joke. i realllly dident want to have to put the sub under the tray but was wondering if anyone has done a iin cabin (probabaly behind passenger seat) sub install. not too worries about the amp, just the box. anyone able to point me in the right direction? Also pics would be awsome if anyone has any!
cheers
my friend has rockford fosgate 10's in his ute (not a commodore though) with those really slim sub boxes. seems to fit in pretty easily and they still sound fine.
yeah i wasent too sure about the slimline subs. my mate had two cadence slimlines in his bmw sedan and my 12inch pioneer slaughtered it. unless someone knows of a decent 10 inch slimline sub with boxx to fit? dont want loud...just deep punchy!
I've got a 12" soundstream sub next to the petrol tank in my VZ, one of my friends has 2x12" pioneer slimline subs behind his seats in boxes he made up.
His definitely sounds louder but I really don't like the sound of slim subs - it's like they don't move enough or something... ( it's hard to explain).
I'm much happier with my tank sub, plus I can still put stuff behind the seats.
yeah thats a fair point about space for stuff behind the seat. are both 12 inch pioneers behind one seat? or one each?
One behind each seat, no idea where the jack lives now though
