Whenever I pull into the train station or a shopping area I always turn it down so as not to attract the attention of car thieves

Day time, it's normally softer on the way there, louder on the way back.

Night time it's normally louder on the way there, softer on the way back.

As a general rule anyway. It all depends on my mood and the style of music being played. One thing I stand by though is never playing loud music with passengers, I hate being in cars where you can't hear/hold a conversation.

It's extremely rare for me to show it off, I'm too worried about thiefs.

    Nice thread btw.

normal except for a good song... loud when with mates, loud to get them out of their house so i dont have ring their doorbell and have awkard convos with their parents. depending on my mood loud very loud in quiet streets.. but silent in my street and parking lots, finally when i used to go to school a few of us with the same song blasting to piss teachers off...

all in all i like to value my hearing so its quiet for a fair bit. basically not on saturdays

probably sounds strange coming from me, but I rarely have the stereo going these days. Especially with my daughter in the car. By myself and if I'm running late the volume "magically" increases itself though.
