MP3 player into a VX equipe - how to do it?

Hello all,

I have a 2001 VX Equipe in excellent original condition. I use my ipod in it by way of a cassette adaptor into the factory Eurovox cd am/fm cassette player unit. I find the sound quality generally reasonable, however on some tracks there is distortion (interestingly these are all classical tracks...). Aside from fm transmitters that are a bit fiddly, is there a better way to get an mp3 player to play through my standard factory system?

i think you would be better off just saving up a bit of money and installing a new head-unit, you can get some decent sony and pioneer head units for about $120

I was wanting to keep the car concours correct 100% stockers. Hmm, seems like not much I can do. Thanx anyway....

Speak 2 Pheddy (Greg) in the ASR section, im pretty sure he has done an auxilary 3.5mm output on a eurovox unit b4 so u can play ur MP3's on.
