Subwoofer quiet after IQ upgrade?

So last week I got the letter to upgrade my 2010 series ll IQ system in the car to the latest software version. I went in and the dealer did it all, but after changing all the settings (that I can find) back to what I had before, I have noticed my subwoofer is much quieter and can hardly be felt where it used to thump out much better beats.

They haven't fiddled with my amp, and I have mimicked every iPod and car setting as it was before, but still I'm left with a piss-weak sub sound that I can't feel at all anymore.

Anyone got a clue as to what's happened? Are there hidden settings I cannot normally access which have to be reverted?
