Maximum depth on vy/vz front door speakers

Hello All

im looking to get some speakers for my Vy ute

i would like to know the maximum size speaker i can put in the door (ie 5.25" or 6")

i would also appreciate anyone who can tell me the maximum mount depth on the door speaker.

could anyone give me a link that would show me how to install them in to the doors?

I'm running 6.5" with a 3" mounting depth, all good. Though anything larger than 6" you'll need to modify the stock speaker mount a little bit. Pretty well any 6.5" speaker will fit in the door though.. what are you looking at?

JL AUDIO C2-600 6" or POLK AUDIO® MM5251 5-1/4"

just the sound quilty jump up that much if you go to 6.5"

Not so much sound quality mate, midbass is huge. I rate the Polk MM but the 65 series, its worth going for the 6.5" for sure, 5.25 is too small for a commodore door anyway.

how do i install them have you got a link?

im putting a polk 12" mm sub in as well

once agian tossing up between 10" or 12" i hope bigger is better

with this system im going after sound quality not power
