    Default VE Headunit

    May sound like a stupid question but I am in the process of buying a VE SV6 ute and I am curious to know if the headunit can be replaced with a single DIN headunit. And if not, can an amp be hooked up to the standard head unit?

    You have some options and you'll find there are heaps and heaps of threads on here that will help you with your questions... seek and ye shall find. (Do an advanced search for ve AND headunit as a start... 120 results...)

    Look on eBay. Alpine makes a dev kit for a xr8 so they must make it for the ve. I'll try find you a link

    There is a kit to replace the A/C controls so you can install aftermarket headunits.

    Struggling to find anything that tells me how to install an amp/sub. Only thing I found was using a JOC
