    Default subwoofer

    hey
i was getting a few quotes on subs and what not

    should i get the v-power/type s subs
or spend the extra money and get the type-x

also i was considering getting two subs behind the seats on my ute, will one subwoofer do or two will do nicely?

One is more than plenty. I rate the type-x sub but its very expensive for what you get.. No idea how you would fit that in a ute either, they are fairly deep. Consider the Polk MM range those subs are nice and slim but do not sacrifice any output in their design.

Generally speaking, modifying a car won't increase its resale value. Its unfortunate, but thats just the way it works. If you're selling to a young driver looking for their first car, they may be willing to splash a bit more, but thats the general rule of thumb.

yeha man, its so shit how you put all the effort into doing a car up
and then you go to sell it down the track
and get less then what you paid for even after all the mods you have done

part of life i guess haha

Yep. If you're spending money on mods with only resale value in mind (not implying that you are), you should probably spend the money on something else. Mods should be done for enjoyment.

you will, but i assure you you wont make back what youve spent on it.

like my car i bought for 11k, spend 15k on it, wont make anywhere near 26k for it though, maybe 14k at most.

This is the reason why I will never sell my VX, I will run that bastard into the ground. Will never get my money back for the suspension, or the engine rebuild.

have you considered the r type sub, i know speakers are different but i have had x and r type speakers and i preffered the r type ... they just seemed to punch harder and take more punishment, where as the x type seemed to be less loud... like i said speakers and subs are different but there must be something similar in the design
