Default Boston G2 12" and GTA 400 monoblock...

    Alrighty,

Been looking around for a while, found i can get a Boston G2 12" twin coil and a Boston GTA400 mono for $640 in a 1 cu.ft box.

    Good ?? Bad ??

i like the sub and from the pricing i've seen its a fair price, but any input appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Dave

Have you listened to it, had any experience with the sub? Is that the GTA-400M amplifier? Its not a massive amp, though it would get the sub moving. Is that price installed also, or are you going to install yourself? Do you have all the needed wiring? Something to factor into the price.

No worries mate. I do quite like the Boston G2 series subs, from my limited experience with them.
Rough price breakdown of $240 for sub, $395 for amp, and then a prefab box would usually be ~$40 so you're getting a reasonable deal. As long as you are confident to run the RCA, remote and create a good ground for the amp. Also wire the sub down to 2 ohm (wiring diagrams available online)
I'd say go for it mate!
