hello...ive got two type r subs 1223d's running from a MRP-M1000
and the subs cut in and out. other times when i start my car the subs don't even turn on then 20 mins off drive they just jump straight in and work. can you guys help me?? or how much would it cost to set it up right (i installed it myself by the wiring was do pro)

What is the gain on the amp?
What do you mean by cut out?
Is the amp turning off?
Or the headunit turning off?
Or the subs momentarily not playing?
How are the subs wired?
Is the amp getting hot?

gain is half way up...i mean the subs are pumping away then just cut out and then its just my door speakers running. the headunit is fine ...i think the amp go's into protection but the light is still on so i can't tell.

the subs are in a alpine ported box so wires are running + from sub to box and - to box then the wires from box are joined into + amp and - amp

How are the subs wired on the inside of the box though?

Is the amp getting hot / going into protect?

I have an alpine amp running 2x 300watt rms clarion subs. If I pump too much power into the subs the amp will cut out, and can only be reset by turning the car off and on. I think it's a protection thing. Maybe turn your subs down a bit?

i think it is the wiring inside the box...it doesn't get that hot from what i felt. the amp runs 1000rms on 2ohmns so maybe i got to much ohmns running threw them
