    Default subs in a standard vy ss head unit

    ok iv got a line level converter iv got all my sub and amp wired up and powered up all i need is the right signal from the standard wiring for the head unit iv tried to use the rear speaker signals and that doesnt work right what have others done with the same head unit to get subs to pump properly

    are u talking about the remote wire?

    just turn the car onto accesories and find a wire (with a test light that is allwase on) we used the wire coming from the electric mirror switch, spliced into it and then ran it thru the door loom and back to the amp...

    Check the sticky at the top of this section, all the wiring colours are there.

    no i dont need any of that iv got remote i know the colours all i want to know is what do i use as a signal to the converter for my sub

    The rear speaker channel should work, there is no reason why it doesn't. B sure to connect the polarities correctly to the loc and everything plugged in correctly ie outputs to inputs n so on. Sorry don't mean to say u dont know what your doing but there just shouldn't b a reason why the rear channels don't work. Check the fade on the deck.

    ok so it was a polarity issue all good now working fine would you recomend using both rear speakers to even out the drain or do people usually just use one side
