VT Berlina original rear speakers not working.

HI,

I just bought a VT Berlina with original CD radio unit which has some tuner issues as well as the rear speakers not working when I turn the fader to the rear.
I thought I would solve problems by getting a new Pioneer unit.
Installation went well except I'm still not getting any sound out of the rear doors,
left or right.
Is a there possibly a plug in the loom somewhere that may have been disconnected and its location? Im working on the theory that both left and right speakers arent blown.

if the car has had speakers put in there previously and then taken back out then yeah they could well just b disconnected. u can check with another working speaker 2 see if thats the case b4 u go pulling trims appart.

try testing them with a speaker popper from the HU end and you'll have your answer, save pulling off your trims
