Ve stereo ss to ssv swap

Hi all, new to the site, just wanting to know if anyone has been able to swap a standard ve ss ( no screen or climate control) to a ve ssv system with the nice screen and climate?? Seen a few ssv screens on eBay and was wondering if it was possible to upgrade mine.

i went past holden today, to have a look at whats on offer, and was chatting to one of the guys there, and he mentioned that the stereo, bcm and computer are all chain linked, and its not so easy to swap out stereo bits and pieces. without disabling the car

but in saying that, it cant be impossible. im looking at the VE's for the wife, so im interesting in this for the future
