    Default my VT Calais new boot install

    I thought I'd put up some pics of my boot install I just finished tonight. 2 x Rockford fosgate P2 12 inch subwoofers, custom fibre glass boxes & a Jaycar 1 x 1000 watt rms amp. Lete know what you think.

    I did make them myself, but for the Time effort and mess I think I'd buy pre- fab ones next time.

    The prefab FG boxes are pretty thin, but if nothing else they are a good base to start from, a few extra layers of chopped strand mat and resin would see them much stronger.

    Mine are 10 mm thick, with 16mm MDF internal braces moulded into the glass. Probably over kill for my P2's and an enormously time consuming exercise.
