RCA Splitter with Low Level Converter

Hey all,

i just bought a amp to run the new speakers im getting next week, its the 4ch jaycar response amp: AA-0453
ive also bought a $15 aerpro low level converter to run the amp off my original H/U until i get a new one

basically im running the speakers and 1 sub off the jaycar amp but i was wondering is it possible to split the rcas at the low level converter for both speaker signal and sub signal? its in a vz ute but im not sure whether the H/U has other outputs for rear speakers anyway cos there isnt a fader setting on the H/U

i tried searching but couldnt find anything related to this

I'm pretty sure there is no rear channels buuuttttttt I'm also pretty sure ASR can add then in. Check them out theyhave a sponsor thread on here man

yeah i didnt think they did, i could get ASR to fix them up for me but basically im just using the original H/U till my birthday when ill get a new one, and just want better sounding speakers and that till then, i dunno if ill have the sub by the time i get a new H/U

im only wondering if i can split the rcas so the single set will run both speakers and the sub though a 1/2/Bridged amp, do you get what i mean? haha

I would just leave it till you get another h/u then. Screw messing around only to pull it all out anyway lol. And I dunno if it will work doing it like that?

ahk then, well ill probs just install the new speakers and amp and run the LOC till i get a new H/U
im just sick of the original stereo cos im picky and i like loudness and bass but hate even the tiny bits of distortion, so the system doesnt go that loud with a bit of bass cos ive got the auto distortion limiter on haha

Yeah I wasn't a big fan of the original headunit either. Waiting will pay off

Yeah man I think you were on my page awhile ago asking about it. I can't Fault it has full graphic EQ, direct iPod connection, high pass filter you know all that fancy stuff lol does what I want it to do. Think I payed $700 for it so not to bad. Some double dins are super expensive

yeah agreed haha ive found it on ebay for around that price, i know if something goes wrong you have to send it away and whatnot but ive never had trouble with a H/U and if you bought it from a store youd still have to send it away if problems arise haha
