Installing double din headunit

Bought a double din headunit, clarion vx400 multimedia player for $500 marked down from $800 at autobarn. Is it as easy as taking the old VT hgeadunit out, unplugging the wires, cords etc out of back and plugging it in the new headunit or is it more complicated then that?

if you still have the factory wiring there then try find a wiring iso harness so you dont need to snip any wires, and make sure you have a facia and then it would be easy as that

also what car are you installing the new head unit into??

As nic92 said, old head unit out, check wiring harness pinouts for ur new headunit, plug in a wiring harness, plug in new head unit, enjoy.
