Great head unit there...shame about the speakers and amp
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!
I'm only a beginner when it comes to stereos, in fact this is my first one.
But as time goes on, and technology futher develops, i shall upgrade eventually.
Hey Wik, I’ve got the same head unit. Would you recommend I get an i-pod adapter for it? does it have good functionality? I’ve been seriously considering it hey.
I consider myself fairly cluey to technology and all that, but this head unit has so many menu items it confuses me, but then again, i also havent had the time to sit down and explore, as it was only installed on monday and i work 12 hours a day, 5 days a week.
But an iPod adaptor, I reckon its a good idea to have one, since you dont ever have to change you cd, and everything is controlled from the head unit, so you just plug your iPod in, and chuck in the glovebox, and the rest is done from the unit.
Its easy to use, if you are going to install it yourself, i would recommend asking the dealer you get it from a good idea to place the actual adaptor unit, because all that is an little tin box with all the componants inside it.
But I recommend getting it installed by the dealer. Thats what I did.
Nar, I’ll just install it myself. There is an 8 pin plug at the back that I think it plugs into.
Yeah. Took me a while to work everything out, but then again I never bothered to read the book. One thing I found is if you hold down the button up in the top right (I think it’s called audio or something) it reveals a new menu for controlling the various channels and other interesting options. i still havn't worked out how to set the clock.
it took me a while to figure it out, but i would never have worked it out if i didnt read the manual.
i think its, press open to open the unit
hold the source button till the unit turns off
then press/hold the func button till you find clock
and then you set it that way
cheers. i've got the book that came with it kicking around at home somewhere. i'll see if i can find it.

Solid Audio Amp
2 fusion 10" subs
How ever im currently drawing up the plans for a custom boot, hoping to run another fusion and amp with 2 more 10"s doin it up all pretty with assorted perspex and neons 6x9s etc.
im also considering a fusion crossover/ equaliser (fx-45) has any one used one of these?
mines factory at the moment, but u get a 6 stacker, 3 way splits in the front, and 2 way splits in the rear. A subwoofer and amp has been sought, and im currently going to undertake a sealed fiberglass enclosure to mould perfrectly into the LHS boot wheel arch.
