Hi guys,

I have an annoying problem with my car stereo. I'm running the following gear:

Alpine headunit with MP3 - CDA-9827 ( 3 Pre-outs )
Front speakers - Focal 6.5" Splits 165v Polyglass
Rear speakers - Focal 6.5" Coaxial 165HC Polyflex
Subwoofers - 2x Alpine 12" Type R
Amplifiers - Alpine 4 Channel MRV-F407 for front / rear speakers
2x Alpine MRD-M301 V12 Mono amps for subwoofers
1 Fahrad Stinger Capacitor
High quality cables

The problem is the front right speaker, both the tweeter and the mid cut in and out constantly.
I have had both the headunit and the 4 channel amp removed and sent to Alpine for testing.
Both came back after a couple of weeks with no problems found. After this We switched the left and right
RCA plugs for the front speakers around on the amp. After we did this, the front LEFT speaker was cutting
out, again both the tweeter and the mid. So we installed a new RCA lead. For an hour or so I had no
problems, but sometimes I can drive for a short while without it cutting out. Then it started again.

I don't think it's a headunit, speaker or amp fault considering that when the front left and right channels
were swapped on the amp, the front left speaker was cutting out, no problems on the right. But it can't be
the RCA either because we just installed a new one?

Appreciate any help / info.

Thanks for reading.
