No blinkers

Hi guys, just installed a new deck in a mates accord and now the blinkers don't work. Any idea's? Fuse is ok...

Yeah and they still flash with the alarm... coincidence or could I have blown the relay somehow?

Flasher relay could be dead. Although it's usually intermittent. I doubt it's anything you've done though.

Try swapping the fuse out even though it looks fine first. Then I'd swap out the flasher relay. They aren't expensive.

not sure if this can help... but when i put a unit in my VS i put a deck mounting screw throght the wiring loom hiding behind a mounting plate. shorted my hand break light in the dash.
if u put mounting equipment through a loom could possibly be an issue lol

this, done it a couple times at work, forget to plug it in, and the indicators wont work in most cars.

yeah i managed to do this today haha drove halfway to my gfs house and realised they werent working, now i have to pull it apart and fix it up tomorrow haha

Thats it! lol, Ijust remembered we did unplug the hazard switch and a few other things to get the radio surround off and I don't remember putting them back in. Ill give him a ring and check it out. Cheers again!
