Hey all,
I recently just finished a full stereo upgrade in my VT Berlina ( Jensen HU, 6.5" splits in front 6.5" Coaxs's in back running off a 4ch amp and a 12" sub from a monoblock)
Anywho a couple of months ago my rear speakers stopped working which is what persuaded me to do the upgrade and while I was installing the new rear door speakers I noticed that both sides have the same color wiring which seemed odd to me,
Is this the way they're meant to be? as I got a wiring color chart off the forum and it says that they are different.
It's of no consequence to me anymore but I was just wondering if it's supposed be that way or it someone at the factory was a slack arse :P
Cheers
The wiring might have been changed, had mine ripped out the other day ended up having to re wire one door it was shocking, they had like yellow and brown at the speaker then switched to a different combo of blue and a stripe at the plug that leads from the door to the body. [(had to rewire as it wasnt working at and they had the door speakers piggy backing off the fronts so they were in parrellel), when they should have been running to the stock rear amp (calais)]
