Default Pontiac G8 sound benefits from reversing the sub wiring - same for Commodore's?

I thought some of you might be interested in checking out this:
Stock Subs wired Incorrectly from Factory!!! - Pontiac G8 Forum: G8 Forums - G8Board.com

Reversing the sub wiring seems to help the G8's sound. Since the G8 is very similar to the Commodore version I thought it could apply to some of you. However, this might be already old news.

Sounds very reminiscent of how the 6sp automatic slush-box is completely out of phase with the motor.

    They keep on surprising us.!

Well, that opinion's purely from a subjective point of view, but I'm sure you'll find similar ideas if you search the board.

    True, true.

You buy a Pontiac G8 and you would at least hope they would TRY and make the sound system half-decent. I mean seriously what does a filter cost to make in mass, 20 cents?

Yeah, I don't think they place that much importance on it... Playing full range the stock subs blend well and it still goes to a decent volume level. Enough for most buyers, when they wire them in phase
