Why would you bother with 4 x 15" or are you planning on entering a sound off? I call bullshit on 5 15 inch subs in an R33 too.

why do you care about looks? its not like you will be in a car show or anything like that, no one will be seeing the inside of the boot anyway. 99% of the time, the boot will be closed so no ones gonna see it looking ugly :P

Could be a SHOW CAR :O

OP: Good luck, if you turn your whole boot into a fibreglass enclosure it will be extremely hard to fit a ported box in there, let alone getting the tuning right. Get yourself 4 IDMAX subwoofers.

Highly regarded woofers in the car audio community, often referred to as a SQL woofer, great SQ (sound quality) and SPL (sound pressure level). Digital Designs are often great for SPL uses too, do some research. 4x 15" will not happen + the wank factor is just a little too high.

So whats the point in the thread. My wang is bigger than yours?

If you had them in the VP, and now you have the VX, what's the difference? Surely the boot doesn't differ that much in design, layout, and capacity. Thread fail.

yeh u are right, 4 of the 5 are just the wheels on the car...
No wank factor, no anything else,
I just want 4x 15 in my boot.....
im probably stupid, retarded, whatever, but its what i want...
Thought i might come here to see if anyone has ideas...This is a great site with heaps of help..
I myself dont see the point of giving bad feedback, if i dont like whats being said i just move on...
Sure, i get that people like to put down other people's thought's, im not to sure why but cool whatever get's you goin...
but yeh anyway i have 4 subs that i have for this crazy idea of putting them all in my boot...sound stupid im sure...but its what i want..
For whatever reason shouldent really matter to anyone else than me.
So please, if you dont have anything positive to contribute to this Stupid crazy idea then just move on...
But its all good, might just go the old boring way of 4 single boxes, boring but might be the only way besides extreamly expensive profesinal fibreglass work.

It wouldn't be too hard to build an MDF box to suit, but it will take up all of the room in your boot and would be heavy as shit.
Plus you'd be spending a small fortune on amps to get 4 15's pumping properly. It might take a while to plan it out but I'd say if you
really want to go for it, why the f*** not go for it? Good luck.

    exactly right! thanx!
I have a DD Z1a wich does around 5K rms, Im sure it wouldent do anything near that in my case because i only have 2 battreys and a STD alt but should be ok if tuned down.
I will be doing it all out of MDF. fibreglass would be great but im no good with fibreglass.

Fiberglass is very forgiving, and once you do a few practice moulds, then it's pretty straight forward. The biggest issue you would be likely to face is the actual opening space of the boot itself, in order to get the enclosure into it once built, this is where you going to be limited. But the only advantage fiberglass would offer over using MDF would be gaining a small amount of extra volume by working it right into the corners, as aposed to having straight edges.

There you go a useful post

And if you learn how to fibreglass properly, the audio world is your oyster.

    fibreglass the spare tyre well.

    then work from there.

if you're not willing to fibreglass that, then don't even bother trying.

what 15's do you have planned?
