Default Boot setups and spare tyres

All you folk with fancy boot setups... Question, how do you get to your tyre? lol.
I used to have VT Exec, and I always had to take my subs out to get my spare out... They weren't fastened down or anything so it was okay just really annoying.
But I wanna do something cool for my VE setup but I don't really know what while still being able to access my spare... I don't want to hinder anything on the car.
Has anyone got a setup in a VE that they can still get to the spare tyre without ripping out the system?

A lot of people don't run a spare
Some people can technically get their spare out, though they have to take a lot of the stereo out
Some people build boot installs which are still functional

You can always carry a can of slime which is useful in some situations.

Currently considering a boot install with the spare removed as we speak! My mum has never had a flat, nor have I, seems like a waste of ideal space when some slime will suffice to get me home!

Yep I've never had a flat either. But on long trips (I often go to Sydney, Melbourne) I would want my spare, in case of a sidewall blow out or a puncture anywhere along the sidewall, something wrong with the rim etc. But man, without a spare it would make a stereo so much better, perfect sub box just sitting there :P

I haven't got road side assistance yet, but that could be a life saver and a great opportunity to ditch the spare without the fear of needing it! You're not wrong, it would be a great spot for a sub! :P I am thinking of putting my amps in it, was going to go with the side of boot install like yourself, but I will probably need that space

Just a heads up. In QLD don't know about every where else. You can get defected for not having a spare. Found that out the hard way.

In Vic you can go without a spare, but you can defected if you have one that is unroadworthy.

    Yeah, this.
This is why I was asking. I've been done for it in my VT once.

i wouldnt go anywhere with out my spare, which is y i did my VT boot the way i did, not only that but coz i used the boot alot i needed as much room as i could get but still have a neat set up in the back, i hate that slime stuff 2, real messy it can b.

An expensive way around it would b 2 get run flat tyres but thats if u got some $$$ but at least u know they will b better than half the rubbish thats on most cars.

Why not just run the amps at behind the back seat or along the sides of the boot, then either get a corner sub for near the tail lights or sit it at the back. There is no way I would go anywhere without a spare.
