    Default Mounting amps in boot of vx commodore with gas

    Im trying to work out a way of mounting amps in the back of my vx sedan. only problem is the gas tank. my idea is to build a wall out of mdf in front of the tank leave the value box accessable. im trying to keep the most of boot space i can. if anyone has any ideas please tell me.

    Do a search mate and take a look through the install pictures at the top of this section, its been covered heaps of times and there are many pictures of installs with gas tanks.

    I've just got mine screwed to the top of my sub box, bit you could but mdf and mount the amps on the back or the sides with ease.

    yea the easiest way it just to get started with cutting up some mdf :P

    I would start with cardboard so you get the basic shape that you want then trace this onto your mdf.
