Please, do a search. What is rattling? Find what it is, then shove a piece of foam in between the two surfaces

Huge issue is the number plate. Go get yourself some rubber washers/grommets/whatever and chuck them on the screw, in between the plate and the car. Put a foam strip across the bottom of the plate if it is only attached across the top.

i took about 3m x 1m of bubble wrap from work and crammed that in everywhere.... boot weighed alot more.. but stopped rattling.

Expanding foam seems a little smarter.

Expanding foam is dangerous if you're not careful. I have seen people put far too much of it inbetween sheets and it expanded to the point where it bulged the sheet metal, leaving a nice imperfection visible on the outside of the car. So if you go down the expanding foam route, just exercise a bit of common sense/caution.

I was half kidding, but yes be careful, it can be useful between panels.

Not really, dynamat is used to reduce the resonance of a panel, it may help but it certainly does not stop rattles.

Closed cell foam, ideally water resistant as it may be subject to condensation etc. and you won't want mold or whatever growing.

CCF is not usually cheap here in Aus, makes it not the best option some times. If it were cheap I think everyone would use copious amounts of it, I know I would :P

Put calais carpet on the inside of your boot.

I just used some double sided tape to hold the number plate in place, worked a treat.

    Clark Rubber should have some

Calais carpet will do nothing for the vibrations, especially if the vibrations are because of the sheet metal touching.
I would however recommend the carpet due to the fact it looks a lot better.
