What do you think of a 150WATT kicker amp and sub for VT Commodore?

Kickers not bad, it should go alright.

EH, kicker is the same as any other big name, low budget items. You get more green than you do sound quality.
For yourself, I'm sure it will be fine. You have to please your own ears, not ours.

Does it matter what we say, you already bought it... Personally, I wouldn't buy Kicker or recommend it unless it was ridiculously cheap.

haha, i thought you wrote 1500 watts, those 150w kicker subs are shit, they might be decent in a small car but in a commodore they are crap.

I got a 1000w (didnt know they made 150w - is there a need?!) kicker sub and had it installed in my old car ... Never had the same quality of bass as other subs..

nah well i was discussing it with the bloke in the store and he said the quality of kicker were great, so i thought id go with my instinct and get it. and yes, 150watt is small, but this really doesnt sound like a 150 which really confused me. this is 150watt, yet the double kicker says its only 300? can someone please explain? i thought it was really small..

The guy in the shop is paid to talk whatever crap he needs to in order to make sales, either that or the only other equipment he is comparing it to is similar crap. In comparison to my JL Audio 12w6 sub, my mates kicker sub sounds muddy as all hell. Fine if all you care about is fully sick bass, without any sound quality aspects what so ever.
