    Default blown amp? *sigh*

    aight heres my story..
got back from a week in melb and driving my car again i pumped up the music ( no louder then i usualy have it (half))
just got into the part of the song with the bass and then the subs cut out.
its a 600 w pioneer amp, not sure how old it is.. my first though was check the fuses. intact.
also it doesnt seem to have / be in protection mode?
i then looked at the power light on the amp, it constantly on when the deck is on, but now the light flickers? i though it was the power, but the ground, power and remote wires are all fine!
there is no noise at all to the subs so iv turned them off at the HU at the moment..
what do i have to check on the amp to see if its alright, or not so alright?
    thanks guys

Check all connections, make sure no wires are touching the chassis etc.
I'd say the gains were incorrectly set, the amplifier produced a clipped signal and is now stuffed?

Disconnect the speaker wires from it, just have the power to it and if the light still pulses, the amp either has blown power supply transistors or blown output transistors or both and will need to be repaired.

I'd also check the resistance of your subs to make sure you haven't cooked them which has then cooked the amp. The speaker wires connected to the amp should measure around 2 ohm or slightly below like 1.6-1.9 ohm. If it's any lower, I'd get the sub/s checked too.
