Ok so I am looking at installing my 12" Pioneer Sub into my VZ SV6. But I need a new amp. Im relatively a noob when it comes to audio stuff, I mostly keep my head under the bonnet rather then this stuff so just looking for some advice. My budget is minimal, looking at amp's around the $200 mark, so I know Im not going to have anything outrageously awesome. Am looking at either Option 1: 4 channel amp to run the sub, and also the 6x9's in the rear parcel shelf, or Option 2: just a 2ch or mono amp to run just the sub and leave the speakers standard install for now.
Would this Fusion Amp be enough to run Option 1?

Or this Pioneer? (Can get it on ebay for $200 & free postage)
GM-6500F 4 Channel Bridgeable Amplifier (760W) - Pioneer Amplifier
Or if I was to go Option 2, would this mono amp be suitable enough?

Or would a 2ch bridged be better?

And for reference, this is my sub

You sure it's a TS-W306DVC? I'm pretty sure only the TS-W306C were sold in Australia. Did you import it?
I like to stick with D Class amps for powering subs so that JVC amp running at 2 ohms would be a good match. Just make sure you run some extra RCA's to the boot incase you decide to get a 2 or 4 channel amp later for the 6x9's. If you really want decent sound piss the 6x9's off and get some decent splits for the front.
Whoops. I stand corrected. Thats what I get for rushing through a google search and pasting links without double checking. I believe it is the TS-W306C then.

Since that sub likes some decent power (300Wrms+), you're better off going with option 2 as there is very few 4 channels that will make 300Wrms+ when bridged.
That sub is 4 ohm single voice coil so you can get a mono amp and run it at 4 ohm, which is kind of a waste because they're made to run at 2 ohm OR you can get a big 2 channel amp and bridge it to make 300-400Wrms at 4 ohm. That Pioneer 2 channel seems like a good match.
I bought a JL 5 channel d class and it does everything. They are small and efficient and still deliver the goods. The system comprises Alpine splits in the front (not sure the spec, they were in there when I bought the car), Alpine R coaxs in the rear panels and two JL 6.5 6W3v3 subs in the rear shelf factory position. It’s not a “doof” wagon but it plays music very well. This is my first foray into D class amps but I am sold. Only problem is I wanted to make a bit of a display in the boot with the amp mounted but it is actually so physically small it looks lame! LOL.
I bought the amp and rear Alpines off Amazon. Quite a bit cheaper than locally.

Macca... Torana and Crisis's info is not suitable for you as the amps they're referring to should be used on a 2 ohm sub, they won't give your 4 ohm sub enough power.
