upgrade front battery - vy

so my battery is playing up and i might aswell upgrade it to a better one more for audio,

at the moment i have a Century high performance battery CCA 520

i dont really have a budget, i mainly just wanna know what is out there and what the price range is.

and like peoples opinions on them.

Never had any issue's with the cheap $99 batteries to be honest. Let us know if it makes any difference.

i can certainly recommend optimas, i had a blue top that only just started to drop a bit of voltage after over 7 years of constant use, and have replaced it with a yellow top now.
a D34 will fit no problems in a VY

Optima D34 is generally the pick of the bunch or you can go for the D31 for a bit more oomph.
In my opinion you should get the Marine Blue tops, no different from the yellow tops other than the extra bolt terminal, which may come in handy.

So to sum up, Optima D34M or Optima D31M.

The D34Y will be around $300, this seems to be about what you have to pay for a good battery, or look for a Deka Intimidator - also a very good battery for large stereo's, deep cycle, sealed, little higher CCA than the D34. I have a few friends using these batteries for both SPL and SQ with great results.
