I have read a few posts on here about people disconnecting the centre speaker to make the side speakers run better. Most of the posts seemed to be from people who own sedans however mine is in the ute. So if anyone can help me out a little as the stock systems in these utes are rubbish! If i could afford to i would put new speakers in but in the meantime it would be good to know if disconnecting this speaker will help to get more quality sound out of the others. Thanks!
I did it, I could turn the volume up a little higher without distortion but I ended up putting in a Polk 4" speaker and I think it sounds much better. I know alot of people prefer just to disconect it but I like it better with the center speaker.
It will take about 5 minutes to do. Then see if you prefer the sound that way. I did it and have never reconnected it.
